Jarðfræðistofan Geochemý ehf. er lítið fjölskyldufyrirtæki í Mývatnssveit. Saga þess má rekja til ársins 2013, þegar við hjónin fluttum í Mývatnssveitina og hófum verktöku hjá Landsvirkjun í tengslum við stór rannsóknarverkefni sem þá voru í gangi. Síðan þá hafa verkefnin orðið fleiri og fjölbreyttari með hverju árinu, og höfum við starfað með hinum ýmsu stofnunum og rannsóknarhópum hérlendis og erlendis að sýnatökum og rannsóknum. Þeirra á meðal, auk LV, er Háskóli Íslands, Umhverfisstofnun, RAMÝ, Íslenskar Orkurannsóknir, Kemía, Krafla Magma Testbed, Íslenska Djúpborunarverkefnið og INGV á Ítalíu.
Geochemý is a geology office at Lake Mývatn, N-Iceland and is a small family business. The Geochemý story started in 2013, when we moved to Lake Mývatn district and started consultancy at Landsvirkjun National Power, assisting them with research projects taking place back then. Since then the projects have been many and diverse and we have worked with many other institutions and research groups in various projects. Some of those collaborators are the University of Iceland, Iceland Environmental Agency, RAMÝ, Iceland GeoSurvey, KEMÍA, Krafla Magma Testbed, Iceland Deep Drilling Project and INGV Italy.
